If you own the previous version of
the Shark Cordless Sweeper you know how great it is for quick and
easy pick ups. The new 3 speed cordless is bigger and stronger.
It has a 13" wide cleaning path and an 8.4v battery. It will run
up to 1 hour before recharging. The low speed can be used on hard
floors to keep objects from flinging out, high speed and turbo
mode are for use on carpet. Other improvements include a telescoping
handle and an automatic shut off feature. If something gets stuck
in the brush roll it will shut itself off. Needless to say, the
Shark still works great on pet hair.
The battery indicator light starts
out green and turns red when about 70% of your battery life is
gone. When it needs to be recharged the lights will flash red.
The dust bin is larger and now has a slight lip on it which should
prevent stuff from falling out if you pick the unit up wrong.
If you never owned the Shark Cordless
Sweeper before read the customer reviews. The cordless sweeper
is not meant to be a replacement for your regular vacuum. It is
great for quick pick ups. Soggy food the kids spill, the stuff
your dog tears up, dirt tracked in the house, pet hair and large
objects you wouldn't dare pick up with your regular vacuum. It
is lightweight so it is great for seniors and disabled people who
can't handle a regular vacuum.
